The GM Plant parking lot will be open for parking on Saturday.  Shuttle busses will be available FREE OF CHARGE from the GM plant to Tinker Air Force Base. This is the fastest and most convenient way to get on base and enjoy the Airshow.

The main Liberator and Lancer Gates off Douglas are best for those parking nearby and walking in. Ample parking is available at the General Motors Lot located at 7477 S.E. 74th Street between Air Depot and Douglas Blvd on S.E. 7th Street with transportation provided FREE OF CHARGE to the Base.

You should leave plenty of time to get to the GM plant, board the bus and get to Tinker AFB. Expect delays in heavy traffic at different times, and leave early to avoid long car lines. Round trip time from GM to Tinker is about 15 minutes and multiple busses will be available to avoid long lines.

All participants should be prepared to be searched as you are entering a military base. Absolutely NO WEAPONS of any kind will be allowed on base, toys included. You may bring lawnchairs and strollers. Underneath storage on the busses is not available, so choose what you bring wisely. No coolers, pets, outside food or drink or glass is permitted. General safety rules should apply. Bring sunscreen, glasses and hats as it is summer and heat protection is important. An on-site ATM is available.
